Experience Architect, Service Designer, Inclusive Thinker, Wannabe Coder and Swiss Army Knife. Yep! That’s me.
Mazhar Mohad

I am Mazhar Mohad (often called as Maz), with over 10 years of expertise in designing UI and UX. By rethinking ideas in a multi-disciplinary socio-environment, and the continuing real world challenges of ‘Human Experiences’, I am looking to advance with aspiration in inclusive and accessible design. Striving to create strategic design for building smarter businesses/cities and accessible public information using the gained skill sets of digital experience and education.

Prior to my career, I was a hobbyist coder as a teen with relentless curiosity, an instinct to create and perfect design which has now enabled me to expertly analyse everyday factors, improve and make them easily accessible through design thinking.  I am an extremely curious thinker, excited about the convergence of design in any space that improves humanity’s basic values. My industry expertise includes financial, hospitality, travel and telecom.

In my 30s, I currently reside in the city of Dubai (UAE) and work at Accenture/Fjord as the Experience Designer & Architect for the MART region (since 2016).

Governing Commuters

With constant challenges ahead for Dubai’s Roads Transport Authority, we took a rather simplified approach to help position all its electronic services. The goal was to make it easy and transparent for the public to use and access information to all its several hundred services, while creating call deflections to its call centres and reduce footfall to retail locations thus optimisation.

Redefining Savings Account

Customers like Savings Account. But why do they like it and how can they make best use of it? All this, while at the same time creating value for the business. Savings Account as a product lacked purpose for its existence. We rethought from scratch what Savings should be as a product and this led us to the proposition of how digital can play a vital role in revenue increase.
