Role: University thesis project (solo) on public transport enhancement:
User Interface Architecture and Passenger Experience Concept

Preview of the conceptual bus stop prototype, interface and structure installation of interactive information screen for urban public transport.

Enhance Passenger Experience using Technology, Design and Entertainment

A) Live tracking of next busses to the stop with time and kilometers away.

B) Interactive Information Screen providing further information about the public transportation. A source for revenue generation by selling dynamic/video ad space and enhance passenger experience with interactive information interface - Journey Route, Transit Schedule, Map, Essential Info, Tourist Info etc.

About

I'm Mazhar Mohad, an Interactive User Experience Designer. This is my digital space where I showcase my most recent works. As a designer, I specialize in interfaces, branding and user-centric experiences with a passion for inclusive technology.

By rethinking ideas in a multi-disciplinary socio-environment, and the continuing real world challenges of Interactive User Experience Design, I am advancing my career with desire and passion in human centric interfaces. I am often known as an extremely curious thinker who is always excited about the convergence of great design and great usable technology.

Graduated in Bachelor of Design, Graphic Communication from OCAD University - Toronto, Canada (2003-2007); I am currently pursuing my Masters in Inclusive Design (low residency program: 2012-2014) at OCAD.

Currently reside and work in Dubai as the Senior User Experience Architect for LBi. And I have worked with various regional and international clients; creating and having fun with some awesome projects and experiments.

My great inspirations come from nature, architectures, cultures and traditions. When I am not designing, I am probably traveling or getting some adrenaline rush.
